Designing and running
cleaning startup courses

With the job platform Cheonjik, designed a cleaning startup course that properly trains the people who will do the work and creates a new source of income. All 15 trainees in cohort 1 completed and are now working in the field.

Period
2025-05 to 2025-12
  • 15Cohort 1 graduates, now working
  • 3Cleaning curricula
  • 141Course inquiries handled

A course for people starting out in cleaning work to learn field skills, customer handling, and startup marketing and then take jobs right away. The goal was well trained workers for the platform and a new source of income for trainees.

How we planned it

  1. 1

A structure where both sides gain

The platform needed workers it could trust with jobs, and trainees needed a new source of income. We planned a course that connects the two: teach properly, verify, and then connect graduates to jobs.

  2. 2

    Selling, not just skills

Field skills alone leave graduates dependent on platform jobs. So the course has two tracks, field skills and startup marketing, covering brand names, target customers, local search keywords, and search ads so graduates can win their own customers.

  3. 3

A test before going on site

The completion test is split into field questions and startup questions. Field questions target points that lead to accidents on site, such as chemical safety and choosing cleaners by surface, and a written answer to a customer complaint checks customer handling too.

  4. 4

Recruiting and running the machine cleaning courses

For the pilot with Ecclim Care, we designed a funnel where ads bring people to a free live session and viewers move on to enroll. The platform handles inquiries and scheduling while the field specialist teaches, with one cohort run each week.

  5. 5

    A hands on curriculum

In the three day ice machine course, trainees reassemble and test on day two the units they took apart on day one, learning the structure by hand. The last day ends with a timed field simulation and a random practical test to judge readiness for the field.

What we did

  • Planned move in cleaning startup course cohort 1 with Cheonjik and built the materials and completion test.
  • Split the completion test into field skill questions and startup marketing questions.
  • Built three day ice machine and two day coffee machine cleaning curricula with Ecclim Care, and wrote the sales page and refund policy for the platform pilot.
  • Hosted a free live seminar and handled 141 course inquiries.
  • Planned an expert certification test and ran a nationwide expert workshop.

How we taught

  • Field questions target the points people actually get wrong on site: pre job checks, chemical safety, cleaner choice by surface, cloth color by zone, and a written response to a customer complaint.
  • Startup questions cover naming a brand, writing copy for a target customer, local search keywords, and search ad metrics, so graduates can start selling right away.
  • Machine cleaning courses run from theory to disassembly and cleaning, reassembly and testing, a timed field simulation, and a random practical test.
  • The refund policy follows the standards of the Private Academies Act.
