We are building a tool that turns order files in many layouts into a form ilnetta can import.
Maybom prepares its own preprocessing files before uploading orders to ilnetta. The files come in several layouts, so matching them to the ilnetta format is repeated with every upload.
How we planned it

Start from the real files
We downloaded every preprocessing file Maybom uploads to ilnetta and sorted them by type.

Define the column mapping
We are mapping which column of each type belongs in which ilnetta field.

Separate the item list from the conversion table
We reviewed a structure that keeps the item list and the rules for converting item names apart.

Presets so staff only choose
We are designing mappings saved as presets per file type, so staff only pick one when uploading.
